Beef and Chinese Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
  • 1/4lb lean sukiyaki beefor 1⁄4 thinly sliced beef
  • 1lb Chinese cabbageNappa
  • 2teaspoons salt
  • 6cups water
  • 1/2teaspoon MSG
  • 2teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1teaspoon light soy sauce
  • 1tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1teaspoon sherry wine
Instructions
  1. Boil water. Cut cabbage into shreds and add to boiling water. Add salt and MSG. Boil for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix beef with light soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil and sherry.
  3. Add meat mixture and boil for 2 more minutes. Serve hot.
